The Daf Group, composed of 3 brands (Daf For Home, Studio D and Industrial D) was founded on September 1, 1994, is located in the city of Garibaldi – RS, in the center of Vale dos Vinhedos, a region that is historically recognized for its production of furniture; being the biggest furniture hub in Brazil. Over these 28 years it has been specializing in manufacturing furniture combining quality and design, during this trajectory in which the company operates in the national and international market, DAF has already gone through different processes in the handling of raw materials and different inputs in its base of products. It began its activities developing furniture in steel and aluminum, and for over 18 years it has expanded its range of products by developing furniture in wood and upholstered furniture, always concerned with using raw materials of proven origin, such as certified wood, fabrics, foams and metals with technical specifications. guaranteed, thus becoming one of the main manufacturers of “sitting articles” (armchairs, chairs and compact sofas) in Brazil. With an industrial park of 4,000 m², with 60 direct employees, 15 outsourced companies linked to its production and more than 40 national and international representatives working in the commercial management of the company. The Daf group has always stood out at the main national fairs in the furniture segment, among the main ones, Movelsul (largest furniture fair in Latin America), Casa Brasil (recognized fair for presenting the main trends in the furniture sector), Equipotel (largest furniture linked to the corporate sector) and Abimad (the main fair for furniture and high decoration accessories in Latin America), fairs that served to strengthen the commercial relationship between the Daf Group and its more than 1,500 active partners that placed us in the showcase of more than 5,000 points of sale in Brazil. With an innovative design, the Daf group always seeks to be at the forefront of the market, thus managing to have furniture that sets trends and ensuring everything from a professional, such as architects and decorators, shopkeepers, to the final consumer who finds furniture with authentic design in the Daf group.

RENATA TÁVORA
In 2013, Renata Távora, from Pernambuco, graduated in Business Administration and working in the financial market, decided to make a change. A three-year stint in Los Angeles was the beginning. Renata studied interior design at UCLA, took a furniture design course at the Art Center and worked there for the first time. What was once just a passion began to take shape. Back in Brazil in 2015, with lots of ideas and pregnant with twins – yes, it was in the plans…not two at once, but who likes monotony? – she began to structure what would become Studio. In 2017, after an intense period of creation, Renata founded the brand in São Paulo. Was it difficult? It was very hard! Motherhood and entrepreneurship are words that don’t usually go together, but we love challenges. We think there’s always room for one more and it’s the difficulties that make us more creative. And so STUDIO MASSA was born, out of the desire to have freedom of creation and a true identity that reflected all this mix and experience. We believe that furniture and objects are in an environment to, beyond form and function, create a mood that helps us live better, this is our passion and mission. Made in Brazil, by the careful hands of our partners and team, between collaborations and experiments, always striving for the best! We believe in producing and generating local value.
